Answers to frequently asked questions
Terminals are installed on stands on the surface and adjustable tripods, as well as integrated into turnstiles and ACS.
The package includes biometric terminal itself, metal base, bridge(jumper), mounting kit, which consists of plastic dowels and screws. Also included passport and instruction manual. If adjustable tripod is needed, please inform our manager when ordering.
Depends on the terminal model. For example, the terminal THERMO-02-MAX, unlike THERMO-02-QR-T, can identify person in a medical mask, and also in glasses.
During the terminal setup, after installing it in the right place and conducting Ethernet power cables, it is necessary to set the terminal IP address, which is indicated in the passport and on the terminal board, or set your own. Then it remains only to turn it on and connect to Ethernet network.
The speed of identification at terminals may vary slightly. The average operating speed is less than 0.3 seconds.
To install the equipment by yourself, you will need:
- Electric drill perforator with a capacity of 1.2-1.5 kW;
- Carbide drills with radii of 5, 20 mm; mounting knife, level and tape measure.
Biometric terminals can operate in 7 different modes.
1. Standby mode.
2. The beginning of identification. The mode which the terminal reads the face/finger/card/ and identifies person.
3. Successful identification without access rights violations. The terminal generates an event in the system about the employee’s passage.
4. Failed identification. It is possible if the scan is incorrect or the identifier is not registered in the system.
5. Output of the employee report.
6. Enter an explanatory note about the reason of the absence.
7. Settings menu.

The list of possible malfunctions includes:
- The terminal is not working. The reasons may be – the weakening of cable fasteners, malfunction of the terminal power supply, failure of electro-radio elements.
- Connection breakdown. Reasons: incorrectly entered password, malfunctions related on the computer or Ethernet equipment.
Technical inspection of the terminal is carried out by the service staff at least once every 6 months and includes the following operations:
- Cleaning the terminal case from dust, dirt and foreign objects;
- Checking quality of the fastening;
- Checking quality of the connected cables.
